It's a nice rainy day with some coffee and pixel art. ☕

I've gone back to the older style of sprite, and I'm making some really good progress with the townsfolk (the picture makes it look a little washed out, whoopsie).

Ultimately what I was trying to do with the different body types was too complicated for my skill level. It was getting too difficult to get anything done and halted progress significantly.

I had to admit that I took on more than I was able to do, so I made the decision to use the simpler cute style and that has made a world of difference. And I think it suits what I've been doing with the environment better, though that might just be me.

I'll be going to my first Ren Faire this weekend, so there's some slowdown due to that (I'm super excited to go though). But hopefully, come December I'll be able to share even more things!
